My animation  Artist Statement: I decided to do my animation on a cat and a spider so I named it The Scaredy Cat. I had the spider climb from the tree down onto the spider which caused the cat to run back and forth. I thought it looked pretty good and then I added my tag brush in the last 25 frames.

Business Cards

Sketches Final images Artist statement: I decided to incorporate my logo of lips into my business cards. I also decided to stick with the color scheme for each different one. I really liked the way they turned out and like how I used big fonts so it is very visible and gets to the point in each of my cards.

It also will learn the different stages that occur in a character walk animation. Somewhere

Original image- The Bachelor Image before editing Final image Artist Statement- For this project, I decided to put myself into the reality TV show I watch every Monday with my roommates called The Bachelor. This is one of my favorite shows and I used a picture of me dressed up because all of the girls are as well. The scene I picked is during the rose ceremony where Joey decides if he wants the girls to stay or go home.

Kirby Jenner's Instagram : @kirbyjenner Upon scrolling through Kirby Jenner's Instagram feed, I stumbled upon an image that immediately caught my attention. The complexity of this particular photo makes it challenging to envision oneself seamlessly integrated into the scene. From the intricate details of the background to the impeccable lighting, every element seems meticulously crafted. Attempting to Photoshop oneself into such a masterpiece would undoubtedly require immense skill and patience. Average Rob's Instagram : @averagerob As I explored Average Rob's Instagram profile, I encountered an image that sparked inspiration for my ongoing "Somewhere" project. The photo depicts a mundane yet relatable scenario, offering a glimpse into the everyday lives of ordinary people. This simplicity is what makes the image so com pelling, as it encourages viewers to reflect on their own experiences and find beauty in the ordinary. Incorporating similar themes into my ...

In a society where knowledge and media abound, it's common to feel cut off from the reality of other people's experiences. Lost in our own bubbles, we grow insensitive to the hardships and victories of people around us. But occasionally, a work of art, a picture, or a documentary breaks through that barrier and awakens us to our common humanity. Recently, when I was viewing the documentary "The People's Portfolio," I was moved by one particular picture. The picture showed a young child—no older than five years old—standing amid the debris of his former house. His eyes said so much about the brutal reality of living in conflict zones—a mixture of innocence and resignation. I couldn't help but experience a wave of empathy at that very moment. It served as a sobering reminder of the luxury of living in a secure and stable environment—something I frequently take for granted. Inspired by this profound connection to the world around me, I decided to take a picture...

original picture triad compound monochromatic Artist statement: I decided to use this picture of me on spring break in Mexico. I was in the pool and I thought it was a cool picture of me with nature and outdoors. I like the palm trees in the back and I like how in each picture, the different colors go well together.

Original File- Final Image- Artist statement: I decided to use my logo which is a mouth with a heart as the tongue because I love to talk. I used two different color reds for the tag print because I thought that matched well with the logo. I was going for a simplistic image, so I used two more little versions of my logo, almost to refer to as a little smooch, like a lipstick stain as if someone were to kiss you and leave the print on your face.

Artist Statement: I decided to use Rosie the Riveter's propaganda because I feel like the statement "we can do it" is self-explanatory and as a woman, I feel like it is important to say I can do something myself. I thought this was just a very influential phrase and I liked it along with a picture of myself on the bottom.

I decided to do a camera because I love taking pictures and I feel like it is a big part of my life, as will be in 20 years. I used the pen tool to trace the shape of the camera and then the text tool to copy my letter into the camera. I put the text behind the shape and used envelope distortion to make the top object.  Dear Future Self, I hope you are well, surrounded by love, and leading a happy, fulfilling life as I write this letter. I'm amazed at how much time has passed as I sit down to write to you. Two decades have gone by since I wrote these words when I was a 20-year-old girl with big goals and hopes. It seems unreal. Above everything, I sincerely hope you have taken the time to enjoy the ride. Life is precious. Accept the lessons that every moment has to teach you since they help to shape who you become. I hope you haven't lost your sense of awe. I'm interested about where you've gone in life, the experiences you've had, and the people who have grown to b...
